The King’s Talent was founded by a Christian conservative author with a passion for supporting like-minded writers—guiding them in marketing, selling their books, and establishing lasting, successful careers in writing.

Traditionally, publishing a book required three key players: the author, an agent, and a publisher. While some authors could bypass an agent, securing a publisher was essential. Publishers once managed printing, marketing, and distribution, but with the rise of self-publishing and the diminishing stigma around it, the industry has transformed. Now, it's time for authors to take control and evolve with it!

The King’s Talent will take on the traditional roles of both agent and publisher. While authors today can easily publish their books online and print them on demand, the challenge lies in marketing and distribution. That’s where The King’s Talent steps in!

The King’s Talent will serve as:

• A hub for essential resources, including editors, printers, illustrators, graphic artists, ghostwriters, and even legal support.

• A platform for promotion through book signings, events, and media appearances on radio and TV.

• A dedicated partner in securing distribution contracts, ensuring books reach bookstores nationwide and handling shipping logistics.

How Do I Join?

Here’s What We Need:

  • A pledge of $200 which will give us the necessary funds to hire a well qualified person to manage The King’s Talen and represent us. This would be a one-time investment.

    Thereafter, members would only pay $25 a month for the services the King’s Talent will provide as described above. This is not a lifetime commitment and non-payment of the $25 would result in disabling the link to your website from The King’s Talent website.

  • The plan, presently is to do both to whatever degree is most effective and fair to members. The King’s Talent will have its own website which it will market, but that website will have links to all author websites (will help educate authors about how to build their own) and will also feature authors on a rotating basis. TKT will work as a publicist to arrange book signings, radio and TV interviews or any other way we can find to market our books. Authors can then take books by other members for book signings as a way to help each other, and authors doing so would make a small percentage of books which they may help sell. Distribution will be done by a contracted distributor who will attempt to distribute as many TKT member books as possible based on supply and demand.

  • Application for membership will be open to any author of a published work or unpublished manuscript and will be open to authors from all genres with the exception of erotic or otherwise morally objectionable material as determined by the board.

  • TKT will provide resources to help authors find the type of assistance they may need that is outside the main mission of The King’s Talent, which is to help writers with marketing and distribution.
